Pete Sandschaper, born in 1950 is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He developed an interest in art at a very young age. Growing up, several friends were professional artists in various mediums and as a result of these friendships his taste in art is very eclectic. He has produced many pieces in Painting and Sculpture and while spending years in Europe in the early seventies, photography became a large interest in his life. The photography and computers that Pete uses now to create his works are very different than his beginnings in the arts; the use of light and color produces work that he creates into Acrylic paintings and Oil paintings. His experimentation with paint, computers and photography over the years has taken him through various artistic genres which has ultimately led to the development of his own style. Pete has displayed his works in several group and individual art shows. His art is also included in several private and corporate collections. |
